Types of Media Careers

1- In News channel-

If you see yourself as something of a TV guru, either behind or in front of the camera, television broadcasting could be an option. You Could get involved with the content side of things, get seriously creative and become a dynamic director, a promising producer, a researcher or a good writer. Alternatively, you could use your organisational skills and dive head first into the administration side of TV.

If you've switched on the TV in the past five or so years, you'll know that pretty much every channel now has interactive elements and websites too.

2- Film Industry-

Away from broadcasting, you have the likes of Film, documentaries and illustration and animation. Each of these career paths requires creativity and originality in abundance. It's all about getting your work in front of people. Building up an awesome portfolio of your work is generally the to success. 

3-  Print Media-

Newspapers also have a large number of sub-editors whose job is to give a final shape to the story submitted by the reporter. Sub-editors acts almost like a gate keeper? editing, reformatting, objectively presenting each report, keeping in mind the general policy of the newspaper.

4- Web Media-

The internet is fast emerging into an influential medium which promises updated news content at no cost. The news has to be made sharp and interesting. Editing, presentations, attractive captions are necessary and key facts have to be mentioned.

5- Photography-

These days, Photography is fast emerging as a popular career choice among all the age groups. Photography is both a science and an art. A photographer must be able to create a good composition of any subject, the beauty of human body, scenery or a child's smile. It is an artistic means of expression, the camera replacing the pen or the paintbrush. Photography is divided into many streams each generating numerous job opportunities.




6- Radio-

A Radio Broadcaster announces music, news, sports and may provide commentary or interview guests about these topics or other important events on the radio. A Radio Broadcaster may also they may develop, create, record and produce special radio programme's.

7- Event Management-

A career in event management is never dull! Event managers are responsible for the design, organisation and co-ordination of conventions, festivals, conferences, corporate meeting, exhibitions, weddings, product launches and many occasions that requires someone in complete control to make the event success.

8- Advertising-

Advertising is the art of conveying a message to the masses. Advertisements generally persuade people about commercial products, services and even draw towards social issues. While advertising careers were once limited to print, television and radio, rapid advances in technology have expanded opportunities to online media as well.

9- Social Media-

Social media can be understood as a type of direct communion between organizations, governments, institutions, media houses and their group of target audiences ( customers or people in general ). Example of different online networking social media channels incorporate Twitter, Facebook,  LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr etc.

10- PR-

Public relations refers to the relationship between a company and the public. This is a profession where you need to understand the listener's psyche and mold it in your favor.

These courses emerges the oral and written forms of communication with the advancement of technologies and tools through which you can learn properly and in depth.
