Media Ethics is based on professional conducts. There is certain code of conduct which media people have to keep in their mind. Today we will talk about the 5 steps of ethics which are followed by media people.

1.     Speak truth: When you are in journalism or mass communication job then you have to speak the truth anyway. You should tell the truth you’re your best capability.

2.     Never go wrong with facts and figures: Getting the facts right is one of the most important ethics in Journalism. The stories or news told to the audience are complete when they include the right facts and information.

3.     Maintain privacy of the identity of the rape victim: Never disclose the identity of rape victim so as to save her from other social problems.

4.     No playing with the proofs: Proof of any case is the only thing that can open the truth. Playing or misplacing with the proofs is not allowed in case of media ethics.

5.     Accountability: A sign of Professional journalism is the sign of the media accountability. When media people make mistakes then they must admit it and correct it too. They should then show their feeling of regret that they had made the mistake by mistake and not knowingly.
