Communication is the very basic and fundamental process for human beings. Communication is the act of sending information or ideas via speech, visuals, writing or any other such method. The communication model has a sender who is sending the message and the receiver who is receiving the message.
There are various types of communication between people as well as teams.
1- Verbal Communication
The sharing of information between individuals by using speech. Individuals working within a business need to effectively use verbal communication that employee readily understood spoken words.
2- Non- Verbal Communication/Inter personal communication
This type of communication is more subtle it includes the entire gamut of physical posture and gesture, tone and pace of voice, and attitude with which you communicate.
3- Written Communication
Written communication depends on a trustee old mailman as we wrote to people who were far away. This also include the formal note or legal notice from the bank, landlord, business, client etc.
4- Visual Communication
Visual Communication requires the use of visual aids which are read or viewed for ideas and information to be communicated. For eg:- Charts, graphs, banner, pamphlets, maps, books, postures, screen based media etc.
5- Formal & Informal Communication
One is the Formal and official type of communication which can be emails, letterhead, memes, reports and other such kind of written materials. And in Informal communication as there are no formal rules to follow.
6- Oral Communication (Face to Face)
Face to face oral communication is the most recognized type of communication here what you express come directly from what you speak with your family, friends and in a meeting or seminar. This can be formal or informal.
But having a good knowledge of variety of communication and how to use them for various reasons is very important. This is why you will have to have a degree in mass communication and journalism.
