Decision Making

Decision making is the most important part of our life as it is this capability that drew us to our destinies.
However, there is generally a chunk of time in everyone’s life that we waste in making wrong decisions. You are the luckiest person in this universe if you can’t recall any such moment about your life. Majority of us can.
But it won’t last forever if you are able to realize this before everything ends. Anyone can get that realization from anywhere. Maybe you will realize right after reading this piece. We have to realize someday that we have already wasted a lot of time and energy of our life debating back and forth, making decisions that we were neither sure was the right one, nor fully happy with.
That realization, however, can take you to another unpleasant situation and that is afraid of making decisions. You may become unsure of how to know whether it’s a right decision and you may find yourself in, ‘right versus wrong’ situation.
But let me tell you it’s not difficult to keep it on track and leave behind the regrets. What we have to do is just to learn to listen to our own intuition, feel the signals of our heart that guides us towards the right decisions.
Never let your thoughts get paralyzed by worries, doubts, fears or anxieties etc. Be confident what your body feels than in what your mind says.
The more you practice decision-making in this way, the more you develop an incredible sense of freedom, an ability to move in this world in a way that is true to yourself and to your life purpose. It helps to cultivate the “courageous self-acceptance” and the “fearless heart” described in Buddhist teachings.
Letting go of fear will open you up to growth.
